Mini Review: Sugar Queen Body Scrub – Good Enough to Eat

New In, Skin

The cutest little sample pot of body scrub arrived on my doorstep a couple of weeks ago and now I’m bringing you a cute little review to tell you all about it.

Sugar Queen Body Scrubs, handmade by Sydney babe Kiley, is a small range of delicious smelling sugar based body scrubs. Kiley sent me the Lemon Cheesecake scent, which doesn’t appear to be on the website at the moment, but other yummy scents such as Pina Colada, Peppermint Twist, Coconut & Lime, Warm Sugar Cookie and Espresso are available for $16.95.

Along with smelling delightful, this product did exactly what I was expecting for a handmade sugar scrub. It was packed quite tight in the jar so I scooped it out with a spatula and applied to my damp skin while standing in the empty bath. The sugar crystals do dissolve rather quickly so it’s perfect for a nice gentle scrub if you use a small handful, and you can get more exfoliation by using a larger amount. I imagine this would disappear pretty fast if you try to apply it in the shower so be sure to turn off the water while you scrub, or step out for a moment. The oils in this concoction leave your skin feeling super soft and hydrated  but can also make the bath and shower slippery, so be careful.

I have no doubt that the other scents in the range would be just as delicious as the Lemon Cheesecake, so if you are looking for a locally produced, handmade body scrub then definitely give these a go. You can find them online at
